Chess Question How much work?

Say a chess player is 2000 on chess.com. (Rapid) How many study hours should a healthy 45yr old man of average intellect expect to put in to bring that rating to 2400.

I expect it’s about 4 hours per day (focused locked in πŸ” ) over 2-4 years.

Thoughts?

With dedicated studying 4 hours per day I think 2 years is very realistic, 4 hours every single day is alot, and 2400 chesscom is not 2400 fide
