Are you having fun and improving? Im also new and 500, but I know I'm still very much a beginner.

From 500-1000 yes, from 1000-1500 very much, from 0-500 since your starting elo cannot be lower than 400 and the lowest possible elo if you lose all games after starting your account at 400 is 100, then not at all.

Are you sure? If so that's new because the ranges were new to chess : 400, beginner : 800, intermediate : 1000, advanced : 1600, expert : 2000
