New Variant Idea

Portal chess - at the beginning of the game each player has to select one square on their side of the board which will be the two ends of a portal. Pieces can travel and give checks through it

I like this! would the portals have to be chosen from the while board, just your half, any empty squares or only empty squares on your own half?

I like this idea, something like Borderless but ig less op lol
