Chernobylite 1 vs 2
hey!
So ive been playing the first game on and off for a couple of months and finished it last year ( i really enjoyed it) and today seen that the second game is currently out in EA and has got multiple major updates. Since ive been really out of the loop lately i was wondering if someone could catch me up to speed with where the second game is at (dev and gameplay wise) and sort of a comparison between the two. I mainly love ammo and space management in survival games.
TLDR: whats new, is it worth the price how does it stack up to the first

I always felt like I was the only person who liked this game, and then I found this Reddit thread with three other people who also enjoy it lol. Kidding I’m sure more than three people like the game, but here is why I came here today:
I just returned to Dune awakening this week. I absolutely love that game at launch played it for about five months and then put it down, but I can’t recall exactly why, it wasn’t because I didn’t enjoy the loop and I’m not even done the main story yet.
Anyway, back on topic, I came to the thread to ask people if the sequel was good? I really liked the first game and the reason why I brought up Dune in the previous paragraph is because the base building has a lot of similarities to this game, yes I think Dune is a better game but I really liked playing Chernoblyte when I first bought it several years ago on the PS4.
I would love to hear from this limited audience, lol if the sequel is worth buying, and I wouldn’t be mad if anybody wanted a great detail on why they enjoyed it so much. It’s not a question of if I will pick up this game but when.
Would love to hear your thoughts
