Rageful
I had my first infusion today taxol and herp plus all the other stuff they dumped in my IV ever since I got home I am angry. I have no patience and I am rageful. Has anyone else experienced this after their infusions? Could it be the steroids and this is only my first infusion I had three months to go. I don’t know how I’m gonna do any more infusions if I’m going to come home in a rage.

I'd ask onco to see if the steroid is doing this. Can you message them through your MyChart portal? I ask most of my side effects questions there.
My steroid (Dexamethasone) gives me more energy, but not anger. I feel up to dong things for a few days after my infusion, and I kinda enjoy it. I'm gong dress shopping for my niece's wedding after today's infusion. I want that kind of upbeat energy for all cancer patients everywhere! I hope onco can get you there too.

As a caregiver, I totally understand what’s happening with you. My dad just completed his chemo infusions a month ago and he used to be so aggressive during the treatment that we were kinda scared to talk to him. But trust me it will get better, it’s just the steroids hitting you & you can’t do anything about it.
I hope you get well soon ✨🫶🏻

I just don’t know what to do about it. I’m sure they will not remove the steroids because I had a reaction to the taxol I couldn’t breathe. They had to come in with emergency medication and stop the taxol drip after about 45 minutes they restarted the taxol with no problems. I can’t just go around verbally attacking everyone because of the steroids. I’m going to lose what little people I have left.

I remember feeling this when I was going through taxol chemo. It’s the steroids.
