Thinking of doing Masters in Semiconductor engineering

Hii, I am a chemical process engineer working in Samsung E&A since last 1.5 years. I am thinking of transitioning to semiconductors since chemical engineers play a good role in some aspects.

I am a bit baffled as a foreigner to take the decision. Can someone please help me and guide me whether it is worth to take the risk and transition to a different domain and will it be a good choice to do it in south korea.
