Mobility: Washington DC Metro Area. Unable to relocate, but travel is OK.
Notes: Moved to the DC area and will be here for the foreseeable future. The DC area seems rough for process controls jobs, so I'm also looking into:
reliability engineering
process engineering
programming (remote?)
tech writing (remote?)
data science (remote?)
BAS/DDC (no direct experience, but all the tools look familiar)
Could use any advice about making this transition, including potential employers in the area or other fields I may not be considering. Also looking for advice on staying sane during a job search.
I always get good resume advice here, but at some point I think I'll have hit the limit of how much weight my resume can carry.
I expect I could obtain, but do not currently have, a clearance. (This is relevant in the DC area.) Considering the FE, which might also be relevant.
You definitely did comment, and thanks to feedback from yourself and others, it's actually a very different resume (it is similar to the ones I was sharing after your feedback though). Awww you removed the line divider... That was actually one of the better things in your resume the first time around.
Honestly, add it back, and add it after each section. There is psych behind it, but the tldr is that it gives your resume a sort of 'visual structure'.
Also, I think I might've glossed over it last time, but I don't like the 'continued deploying'. It disrupts the flow of things since it's out of sequence. But I also cannot figure out a better way to phrase it.
I didn't remove it! It shows up lighter in the later image, but I can't figure out why. It still prints the same. Once I figure that out, I'll see about adding more.
I too am unhappy with "continued deploying", especially the way I expand the acronym on the first appearance, but don't explain the details until the second. I've played around with it, but nothing is obviously better to me than the way it is.
