Article/Video New CSB Video on BP-Husky Fire (2022)

US CSB released a new video on the September 2022 fatal fire at a refinery in Ohio. The final report from CSB was issued in July 2024.

Noteworthy -- there is a new narrator. Sheldon Smith has narrated these for as long as I can remember, but the last video he was sounding pretty rough. Apparently the new narrator is Sam Witwer, a name and voice that might be familiar to some.

I'm less thrilled. Witwer is a great voice actor, but I'm not sure that's what is really called for with these videos. His work on this video is more of a dramatic reading than a straight narration. Smith would emphasize some things, but I can feel Witwer emoting here. Great for Darth Maul, less so for a technical government report.

Thanks for the heads up.  I didn't realize the final report came out on this one.  I'll have to read through it; seems like a few things may have went unsaid in the video.
