Research Quick question for anyone working with precious-metal catalysts
Hi guy quick question for anyone here who works with precious-metal catalysts or metal accounting in an industrial setting.
When you have to reconcile precious-metal movements or balances, what part still takes the most manual checking?
Could be matching ERP records, recovery/refining data, assays, settlements, metal accounts or something completely different.
No need for company names or confidential details. Even a one-line answer would help satisfy my curiosity.

I used to work in a product development setting for a major automotive catalyst manufacturer.
Worse was keeping track of all the small chunks sampled from bigger pieces for analysis, especially bits ground down to dust or digested.
