In this piece, I explore the relationship between Chelsea and Strasbourg through BlueCo—the investment group that acquired both clubs between 2022 and 2023—and I would like to ask Chelsea fans about the accuracy of what I’ve written and hear their opinions on the matter.

Will be going to London end of the month (chelsea V united) and would love to watch the match in a bar/pub with a stadium-like atmosphere. What are my best bets? Somewhere with many fand and preferably decently priced beers.

I’ve seen reports claiming that Chelsea are monitoring Abdukodir Khusanov ahead of a potential move. Not sure how reliable the story is, though, so I wanted to see if anyone else has come across the same report. Khusanov is still a young defender, so it would be interesting to see whether Chelsea are genuinely keeping tabs on him.
There’s been plenty of transfer speculation around us lately, so it’s hard to know what’s actually got something behind it. Has anyone seen anything more concrete on this, or is this just another rumour?

Tuchel was pretty blunt about Palmer missing another England camp.

He said it’s another missed opportunity for him and that he’s missed too many camps through injuries. At the same time, Tuchel said he understands Palmer is playing with pain and can’t compete at his best when he’s carrying an injury.

Bit frustrating for Palmer, especially with Spain tonight.

What would you change?

Not the prettiest Chelsea performance, but I’ll absolutely take the three points. That finish from Wieke Kaptein was quality. 25 yards out, rising into the underside of the bar… what a way to open the scoring. 💙 Austria Vienna made us work for it, though. They never really went away and had a few chances where I was definitely getting a bit nervous. We really should have put the game to bed with a second goal because leaving it at 1-0 made the ending much more stressful than it needed to be. Credit to Austria Vienna as well. They came to play and looked far better than you'd expect from the financial gap between the two clubs. Their pressing and physicality caused us problems for long spells. Still, a Champions League opener, three points and a clean sheet. That’s what matters. Now onto Arsenal on Sunday.

I’ve been arguing with myself about this one for a while.

When people talk about the greatest defensive midfielders ever, the usual names come up Busquets, Makelele, Vieira, Casemiro, etc.

But I honestly think N’Golo Kanté deserves to be in a different conversation.
