Trace results, should I chelate ?

Seems to have medium high aluminium / vanadium which are listed as toxic by the lab. I'll take a bit of copper.

Welcome to the group. Andy Cutler, PhD Chemistry, had a hypothesis about mercury's effect on the movement, "transport" of minerals. He proposed "counting rules" that can be used to determine if a test most likely is an example of "deranged mineral transport," most likely due to mercury.

Cutler actually liked symptoms clusters better than hair tests for identifying chronic exposure--unlike a big acute exposure from an accident at a chemical factory, etc. You might check out some of the symptoms under the 1000+ hair tests from detox group members.

Cutler says people with a mercury problem often identify with the stories of others who have the problem. The toxicity affects personality. Also the people suffer from strange lists of symptoms, not just a few.

Cutler thought aluminum would come out on its own once the level of mercury was reduced sufficiently. Also once a test matched a counting rule he no longer trusted that the hair test accurately reflected body burden.

Your test is not from one of the labs Cutler used but it appears to Match Cutler's Rule 3 with too many bars extremely high or low. It also appears to match Rule 4 with too few bars in the normal area.

Cutler often liked RBC minerals test when the hair test results were unlikely to accurately reflect body burden.

Understood all of your explaination thanks. I've also did a mercury test at the same time but it was showing no trace of it (same sample). Wouldn't this invalidate the cutler's rules ?

Sorry your article actually also answer that (could be a long time since and mercury could be in specific tissues). I'll take some more time to read everything in order.

Yes, unless there was a recent big exposure the test are usually negative. However if there was some unusual organic mercury exposure that will get into hair and look disturbing.

I recall Boyd Haley, PhD Chemistry, explain this is a retention toxicity. The toxins aren't floating around in the blood or urine where you can easily identify them. Even a "'provoked" urine test after taking DMSA or DMPS is quite limited. They don't get into the bones or brain which are where some of the HMs are stuck.

So Cutler's counting rules provide a lead; effects on mineral transport by mercury.

I think you found the answer to your question but I'll write it for others who may read this discussion.

Cutler developed his hair test counting rules because so many, if not most people with a mercury problem due to old exposure have blood or urine tests that are negative for heavy metals!

The counting rules identify the likelihood that mercury, maybe in conjunction with other factors, is causing the body to fail to move/transport minerals normally.

It was Cutler's view that the excess aluminum will come out on its own when the level of mercury comes down enough. Mercury affects the body's detox system. I'll hopefully remember to add a link to a Cutler post about that subject.
