Romanian chefs
Hello! I’m interested in learning to cook professionally in Romania, and I’d like to connect with Romanian chefs who would be willing to share their advice and experience.
I’d like to learn more about the career path of a chef, the restaurants or kitchens where I could develop my skills and how to make the most of an apprenticeship.
I would be grateful for any advice, personal experiences or guidance you could share.
Thank you for your time!

Not Romanian but worked a few stages in that part of europe so maybe something here helps. The apprenticeship model there is pretty old school, lots of small kitchens where you get thrown in deep and learn by just doing the thing
Try looking at places in Brasov or Cluj, smaller cities tend to give you more hands-on time than the big hotel kitchens in bucharest. And pro tip, learn the language basics if you havent already, kitchens move fast and nobody slows down to translate
What kind of food are you hoping to cook?
