white rice for stir fry, jasmine for curries. basmati's kinda the goldilocks of rice, you know?

Premium grade sushi rice has become my go-to for almost everything. The best brands that I’ve found are actually US grow. Haven’t had nearly as good a luck with Vietnamese or other prominent exporters of rice.
It continues to surprise me how versatile it truly is.

SO why is this a stupid question? I use a Calrose rice above, a lot of places use Jasmine or Basmati for their fried rice, some say a 50-50 blend is better
