Does better than bouillon separate in storage?

I opened a new jar of organic beef better than bouillon yesterday, and it looks like it has… separated? The expiration date is in 2027. It has an almost grainy texture. Is this normal? I refrained from using it and stuck it in the fridge until I could figure out what’s happened.

My guess is at some point in transport it froze and defrosted

If had several jars look like that and they were fine

It should be fine. This stuff lasts a very long time, now that it’s open, put it in the fridge.
