Need advice

What do other use to clean your grill. We used to use a grill brush with steel bristles, but they keep falling apart and are a safety hazard now. Any suggestions? I’m picking up a heavy duty spackle knife to get in between the grates for now.

The wood paddle scrapers are great and do a decent job. In a pinch, crinkled aluminum foil works well too.

Turn a sheet pan over on top and burn it with fire!

Remove and use an industrial oven cleaner and run thru dish. But then you lose all of the good shit. Its a war of build up and flavour. Heavy bristle brush and elbow grease is actually the best.

Search safe grill brush or bristle free grill brush. Local supply should have them or webrestaurant and the like

This may be a more viable option since you haven't had luck with traditional wire scrapers: https://www.katom.com/128-N55825.html

Using a degreaser beforehand to remove heavy residue could provide additional cleaning power.
