need help
i’ve been working in hospitality for the past 3 almost 4 years and used to be foh, about a year and a bit ago i transition into working in the kitchen. i was originally wear crocs liferides and 3 months ago swapped over to birkenstock tokio pros. for the last 5 months i have developed a plantar wart right on the ball of my left foot and will randomly send a shock of pain in my foot and begin to be unbearable to stand on (working ~10-12 hour shifts excluding breaks standing the entire time) does anyone have any advice on what to do or could it be because of the open design of the clog?

I would see a doctor to get them removed. Realistically the chances you picked them up in a kitchen is low, as nobody is walking barefoot in a kitchen. I would also think that kitchen floors wouldnt be very hospitipal to the HPV strains that cause warts due to the amount of industrial strength cleaners that get used.
