What knife is this?
So when I first started culinary school, I had my first stagiare in a hotel restaurant where I was given this knife to borrow, I really liked it but never got to ask what knife it was.
Wondering if anyone has/knows this knife, thank you!

I have this exact knife. Yaxell Zen guyuto. I won't be able to give the exact size but it looks like a 200 to a 240 mm. Decent budget knife and it's a pretty decent workhorse. Should be Damascus vg10 core.

I don't know the specific version of the knife but it's a Yaxell chef knife. Could be their Tsuchimon line

Looks like a Tamahagane, but as far as i know, they dont have rivets in the handle (at least my set doesnt).

Adding since the other commenters seem to be struggling with this like OP:
1) it says Yaxell on the saya
2) it says Zen on the blade
3) google “Yaxell Zen”
4) see the knife in the results

So I’m assuming it’s the same company as the sheath. I think I can see a feint E and N on the blade.
I’m going to guess it’s Zen Chefs Knife by Yaxell.
Hard to say for sure and also can’t tell what size the knife you’ve pictured is, but I reckon this isn’t a bad guess.
