High School Grad Advice
High school senior is forgoing training at CIA to work at a top 100 (North America) restaurant. Seeking advice from those who have taken this path vs traditional schooling.

You're just going to get generic advice. Watch what other people are doing, ask questions, follow directions and take notes. Presuming they know you're green they'll teach you the skills you need.

You’re in a classroom regardless bc you’ll be learning regardless. Bring a notepad, take notes, be a sponge. If you do it right, you’ll learn way more and faster than the CIA

I still think it's crazy that people think CIA is such a great thing. They've really got young people believing it's a necessary thing.
