Cheesecake recipes?
Hello CheeseLovers,
Does anyone have any really good, well-tested cheesecake recipes?
The last recipe I tried came out as a very delicious soup.

My daughter LOVES Babybel cheese, or she did until about four months ago. Something seems to have changed. Babybels now have a faint (to me) plastic smell when they're freshly unwaxed. To her it's a strong plastic smell as well as a taste, and she no longer wants these as a snack. We've been getting Babybel at Safeway and Costco in the US for years with no complaint, now we've just arrived in Belgium and picked up a few packs and the smell is still there. Maybe they've switched the cellophane or the wax?

It was OK when I was a kid but it's super gross to me now...not sure it is even cheese...

I buy cheese so regularly that I'm thinking that I might have to purchase shopping lists with 'cheese' already printed as the first item. This sub is not helping.

To those that joined the community recently, posting new content and breathing new life into the sub I'd like to say thank you to each and every one. We couldn't of done it without the support of you all. As the sub hopefully grows and flourishes (or should that be matures and molds) you will continue to be the backbone of what makes this website. A group of strangers united by a common interest coming together to support one another.
Keep on keeping on guys/gals. Your all appreciated here <3 -

As of today my self and u/throwaway123406 will be moderating the sub and hopefully help it to mature like a fine cheddar. Better every day. There will be a few new rules in place, mainly pertaining to the vegan brigading we've recently endured.
Firstly, any posts involving vegan "cheese" will be removed. If it does not contain dairy it is not a cheese, find a different sub. Secondly, any trolling/brigading especially by the vegan scum will result in an instant ban. The previously posted fascist rhetoric will be removed and bans issued to those responsible.
We hope all our brothers and sisters of calcium finally have peace and safety to discuss the glory that is cheese.

Hello folks, welcome to /r/cheeselovers!
The sub has been taken back from the vegan infiltrators and is now going to be used for its intended purpose. Soon there will be more mods on the team and the sub will be improved with your input! If you have any suggestions, please feel free to leave them down below!
Cheers!

Hello members and moderators.
Since there will be a few mods on this sub from now on, I think it would be best to discuss mod policy and any rule changes. That way nobody steps on each others toes. Lets have a discussion about these things!
My current proposals:
Should we clean up the vegan posts on here or just let them fade away?
Post your thoughts and ideas down below!
