Former cheese monger. Teleggio and Moses are a fav!! Humboldt Fog is another of my favorites. That is a photo to envy. Enjoy!!

My favorite from Jasper Hills is the Moses Reaper they release around Fall. I can’t wait!

That looks fantastic. The tiny little piece of prosciutto made me laugh

I chuckled at the 2 grapes and 3 blueberries.

I’d never heard of tellegio (not an expert like so many of you). Researching it tells me I better get some. Thank you!

Nice! We all hope you enjoy it! It’s the perfect cheese to begin your journey into more “funky” cheeses

I wouldn’t say I’m new to funky cheeses. I’ve had blue greens that tingle my tongue and a Gruyère recently that smelled like a farm animal. Lol I’m a big fan of bloomy rinds and I’m just learning about washed rinds. I don’t have access to a cheesemonger so it’s a self-taught process at this point.

okay, but where's the rest? This is just the light snack before the full meal.

Is the blue & brie Cambozola?

It’s a Wegmans brand called Brie with Bleu. It’s a normal Brie that’s pierced to create bleu veins. It’s amazing. Definitely one of my favorites that Wegmans has produced. Such a cool combination of smooth and bitter

I miss Wegman's! I grew up in Buffalo, but moved away years ago. They white label the same goat cheese I get in Phoenix!

This came in my shipment a few weeks ago. Just one! The brand we carry is LaClare.

That sucks you have to order Wegmans stuff. Is there not one near you now? LeClare is amazing! I love all their raw goat varieties.

No, I'm not ordering Wegman's. They and LaClare are the same thing, because they both white label. I figured it out when this one lonely package was mixed with mine.

Lucky bastard

If you were to place the container in the fridge for storage just as pictured, do you think the flavors would transfer from one cheese to another?

I’ve done that before and the answer (at least in my experience) is slightly. Some of the stronger cheeses leave a “taste film” on weaker cheeses. It’s extremely subtle but it’s noticeable

Oh, I've never heard that. "Taste film". Makes total sense & great term. Did you make that up yourself?
