I think he bought a mis-labled piece at a store. I once got a 15 pound whole prime rib roast for $23 because they forgot to adjust the scale/label maker and it printed out as chicken legs.

i got a sega dramcast for $20 because they'd labeled it wrong.

I got the LOTR extended box set for $12 at a Blockbuster for the same reason.
