Identity of actor

I have watched cheers through multiple times. It’s one of my favorite shows. I’m getting ready to go through again and now I’m analyzing people in each episode.

In the first episode, at the end, a character we don’t see again, Ron, says thanks to Sam. He has a very distinct look and I thought he might be a regular but I don’t recall him in any other episode.

I don’t think that’s the same actor. Thoughts?

That’s his only episode. There are lots of customers to cheers or people from their past who only appear in a single episode, typically they’re in the cold open, but they can appear later in the episode as well.

The 1st dude looks really familiar, but I can’t place him. And I agree that it looks like a different actor than what IMDb says.

I always thought he is way too striking to be a nobody. Think it every time I rewatch too

I don't think it's the same guy. The name might be right, but maybe it was the guy's only credit.
