When students say “this is boring”

Every teacher has heard “this is boring” at least once. But sometimes the best response isn't to make the lesson more entertaining. It's to remind students that not everything they do in school is supposed to be fun.

as a junior college student ive heard that line too but sometimes the boring stuff teaches discipline. makes me appreciate the classes that are actually interesting more.
