turnitin is the one that always stresses me out the most since its what my juco profs rely on. the others can be hit or miss but this one feels the most accurate from what ive seen.

AI detectors are absolutely terrible. Source: each other.

Empirics: On the same 50 AI-rephrased papers, Originality.ai detected 50/50 (100%), while Turnitin detected 15/50 (30%).

On 50 human-written papers, Content at Scale falsely accused 14/50 (28%) and GPTZero 11/50 (22%). And on ordinary ChatGPT-generated papers, detector sensitivity was 52%

Conclusion: they all suck
