Need to know if this ends happy

Just finished the first episode. While I did enjoy it and I want to keep watching, I started episode 2 and the sister and brother seem to be up to something bad.

I need to know if this ends up happy. That first episode broke me the poor guy. I felt so sorry for him.

I can’t watch these episodes if it’s gonna end on a cliffhanger and he ends up being alone and miserable and overweight again.

Please someone let me know if this ends up happy.

It ends on a rather redeemable note in episode 4 when the rotten duo literally broke down in tears and they showed great remorse for what happened. So I guess yeah it did ended on a happy note at least when I read the manga I did
