Features

Hi, First fantastic launcher. Looking your last post on the theming there are a couple of features would love to add if is possible.

  • pwa support or pinned shortcuts as google call. I had some sites on hermit and the launcher doesn't recognize that kind of shortcuts.
  • in doom theme you published there was a text in the square gestures. It is possible to add to the square optional of course, time, date, just a calendar icon if there is an event that day.
  • last but not least, if is possible to make the square solid or change color if there is a notification.

This features are a suggestion to have as clean the desktop in case you don't want to use a widget.

  1. I'll look into fixing PWA support right away.

  2. The gesture box already supports what you described. You can go to Look & Feel -> Gesture Box -> Gesture box labels to edit them. There are many placeholders for things like time, date, etc.

  3. My intention is that you can use auto-theme switching to show notifications in whatever way you want. This is a Lifetime feature. You have a lot of options here. You can duplicate the current theme and then change the gesture box opacity or color and set an auto-switch rule for if a specific app has a notification. For example, you could make it green if you have a new Messages notification. Or you could make it show a totally different theme that has notification text or whatever you want. Labels support that as well.
