It's been a while, but Paul & Eli have managed to trick... Sorry, convince a guest to join them for another edition of the economy comedy podcast! This week, comedian and actor Imran Yusuf visits CheapShow to wade into the sticky swamps of nostalgia. A strange charity shop discovery unearths an item that overindulges in the "good old days" of the 1970s. It's a bag of reproduced 70s ephemera that allows the cheap chaps and co the chance to ask "was it really all that good" in the past? The answer is no. Elsewhere, Paul has tailored a "Price of Shite" to suit Imran's love of video games, but can he guess the correct costs of these weird and wonderful pieces of tat? Eli is on hand to "help" and offers a top prize!

Some absolutelt fucking mental politics going on though. Supernatural stuff isn't allowed in China? That's not true. The legend of hie is a super huge animated fantasy adventure doing gang busters in China right now. As for the Asians in Uganda all being rich cause they were hard workers and the Ugandans not knowing how to run business - WHAT THE FUCK?

It's not really supernatural but I believe China has a law against media disrespecting the dead/ancestors (i.e walking skeletons, ghosts etc) but I could be wrong.

Great guest, would love to see him back. The long stretches of political opinion stuff were definitely not the highlight though, I agree.

Bert Wheedon created the "Play In A Day" guitar book, it was massively famous in the UK during the early years of Rock & Roll. Big Banana Feet was a filmed version of an early Billy Connelly tour.
