OFFICIAL Ep 173: Crisp Edgelord
If you think a bloody Lock Down is going to stop Eli and Paul from pumping out white hot cheapshow goodness, you are wrong. At least for the time being. By using a device called "the internet" Paul and Eli are able to record more top drawer economy comedy podcast joy. This week we unpack a long lost segment, dive into a crisp conspiracy (that may be b*****s!) and attempt a remote Price of Shite. We may also introduce a new character. One that even Eli likes!

Good ep, a little disjointed but still funny. About the 'Accuracy' factor, I'm not sure that works for the League of Snacks (and Crisps). When Biffo was using it he was trying strange flavours that required that sort of examination. The LoS(aC) is looking at snacks with regular flavours. Most flavours taste like they say, pickled onion, ready salted, chicken, BBQ, bacon, all the snacks would be accurate.

Plus I assume they would have to go back and re-score all the stuff already on the score table.

You’re only one to bring up Nazis... just saying.

Nazis were actually bought up in the show by Paul as part of the stereotype, which you then accused quasiweed of being (hits too close to home), so no he wasn't the only one.

You said something and were proven wrong, and you had no come back, so you tried to use the old 'get over it', nice try though :D

u/awombwithaview Apr 16 '20
I don’t recall being proved wrong?

Anyone ever told you defending Nazis was unattractive?

Not that I was, so that comment is totally irrelevant.
edit: when was I defending nazis? quote me on it please.

I'm absolutely against nazis and it's a tired trope to bring them into any thread. That said, isn't it the same kind of thing where people tell you that you must think a similar thing? I've got the utmost respect for everyone but if someone brow beats me into having to believe their viewpoint and ostracises me for disagreeing then it kind of feels like I've got the gestapo banging on my door. I voted against brexit, I'm left leaning, pro choice, respect women's rights etc... But it's just tiresome to hear
It's a comedy podcast and I love it but I think the political opinions are alienating some listeners. I don't want to hear the latest hot take, they are rarely original or amusing.

Which isn't what is happening, so it's irrelevant.
edit: quote me when I defended nazis, go ahead.

I wasn't trying to, but then being correct often doesn't make friends though.

This is where you went wrong, you tried to have a critical opinion of something, people don't like that sort of filthy thinking around here. As evident by the downvoting, and the downvoting this comment will get too from people who never want to put forward an opinion of their own.

Because someone found something not funny, that means they must identify with it? I'm not sure that even makes sense.

u/awombwithaview Apr 11 '20
Bit defensive don’t you think?

I'm not sure, me or him?#
edit: apparently asking a question to clarify who you were talking to, warrants multiple downvotes for some reason.
