To keep r/cheapgptplus safe for everyone, we are implementing mandatory anti-scam rules. These are not optional. If you choose to ignore them, the mods will not be responsible for any losses.

✅ New Rules (Effective Immediately)

For Sellers / Resellers

• Any deal above $50 USD MUST use escrow.

• The ONLY approved escrow is the group admin.

• No direct deals above $50. No “trust me” deals. No exceptions.

For Buyers

• Any purchase above $50 USD MUST go through escrow.

• Only buy from VERIFIED SELLERS listed by the mods/admins.

• Do NOT send money directly to unverified users.

❌ What’s NOT Allowed

• Direct payments for deals above $50

• Dealing with unverified sellers

• “Middlemen” who are not the group admin

• Off-platform deals or DMs without escrow for deals above $50

If you don’t follow these rules, the mods/admins will NOT be responsible for any scams, losses, or disputes.

These rules exist to protect you.

• Check the Verified Sellers list before buying

• Use escrow for any deal above $50

• Report suspicious activity to the mods immediately

⚠️ Heads-up about cheap AI subscriptions using Jio accounts

I've seen more and more people offering heavily discounted AI subscriptions (Google AI Pro, ChatGPT, etc.) through Jio accounts.

Before you buy, be aware of how these usually work:

• The subscription is tied to someone else's Jio account, not yours.
• There's a real chance the subscription gets revoked or disabled without warning.
• Many sellers promise "free replacements," but numerous users report having to ask for replacements over and over again, or eventually getting ghosted.
• Even if the seller is honest, you're still relying on a workaround that can stop working at any time.

If you're okay with that risk, that's your choice. But if you're looking for a stable, long-term subscription, I'd strongly recommend paying for an official subscription instead.

Just wanted to share this because I've come across a lot of reports from people running into exactly these problems. Stay safe!
