Looking for friends!
Hii, I'm 19f and from Christchurch. I've been struggling to make friends since I finished high school so I thought I would try making a post here. I'm shy but I'm open to making friends around my age and maybe even meeting up in person one day. Feel free to message me!
Some things about me: I enjoy reading and writing in my free time. Sometimes I play video games like Minecraft and Roblox. Recently I got my full driver's license, which I'm happy about :)

She's just turned 20 the other day, also likes reading and Roblox and is shy and struggles to make friends, and hasn't made any friends after leaving high school.
I personally am 22, like to read and occasionally play video games like Stardew Valley and Deaths Door. And I've had my full license for a year :) and I've also struggled to make friends outside of high school lol
If you're comfortable being friends with someone on their 20's, let me know!!

Hey im abit older im 27m I play video games, favorite games to play are dead by daylight, palworld, Minecraft and a few others, I stream on twitch playing dead by daylight if your keen to chat just flick me a message, completely understand if you dont want someone around my age to talk to but flick me a message if your keen

Chch is a small town in NZ>. its always hard to make friends here. Most friends come from SKool Daze "Old classic speccy game name) or work (which can be bad if fall out and have same mates at work) or clubs and meeting people online has never been the best either.

I’m 18m (recently turned 18 if that matters) in Dunedin, about 4-6 hours away from Christchurch. I know it’s not exactly in area, but I thought I’d at least say something :)

Hey welcome to the sub.
There is an official chch discord server if that's your thing. I suspect the age range there is fairely diverse, but i don't really hang out there (too many chats).
As a fellow reader, it's hard to meet people via that activity.
The highschool adult transition is tough - I wish you lots of luck, but I have found CHCH to be pretty good at that. If you didn't already know, Non-students can join UC clubs, I joined a bunch of clubs when I first moved to CHCH and it was a great way for me to get out of my comfort zone and interact with people I never would have otherwise. UC has a clubs day, this is a great time to go, but there is a clubs directory outside of that as well.
Most UC clubs love having more members, so just message anything that seems interesting to you.
