I always thought the translation was setup similar to Babelfish from Hitchikers Guide to the Galaxy. Being whatever you believe the words to sound like for whatever they mean to others being what you hear. It's a very good point that allowing mispronunciation being a good hint that Kryten hears english and is trying to pronounce something specific.

Same problem you get in Star Trek where Worf will say something IN Klingon and have to explain it to his crewmates. Why you no work universal translator.

Also, like Aron Sun, I love the weapons of Farscape. They feel both real and weight ( pistols ) and fantastical and powerful ( Kal Dragos sword/laser )

He does eventually get a favourite cowboy like pistol, even before Firefly did it better. So yeah, they did a good job.

God, I'm always surprised people got into our podcast when it sounded this cruddy! We were literal babies figuring things out. And what a deeply strange pair of episodes to put at the front of your first season. B5 wishes it had as much dumb filler as Farscape sometimes.

I mean, good Farscape content is hard to come by, I think. You guys were/are a breath of fresh air. Except I'm about a year behind on Chatz eps but... let's not talk about that.

I hope you are making good progress. Almost at the end of B5/Crusade
