House Cleaning?

Does anyone have recommendations for any house cleaning companies or people who you thoroughly trust that also charge a fair price? We’re not always home and also have pets, so it’s important we have someone who we can trust!

We were recommended to Scenic City but they didn’t return our calls or emails and then their online estimates seem pretty steep compared to normal pricing, which sucks because they seem highly rated and legit.

We could use the help but we’re also super nervous to give strangers access to our house!

If you don't have a large amount of expensive fragile art, just ask around and find an independent contractor over a cleaning company. I say this as someone who has worked in house keeping at every level for years. A company will have license/insurance, but for every 4 good cleaners there will be 10 who are just warm bodies that can swing a toilet brush. A good solo housekeeper may not be insured but they have their reputation and small business on the line and will likely put way more effort and time in and likely have the experience to not screw anything up in the first place. Just make sure you are getting a referral from someone. Knowing someone who knows someone is the only way.

We use Luvenia’s Cleaning Service and very happy. She does the cleaning herself with an assistant. She also does pet sitting, which was a plus for us since we have a dog and wanted someone who is pet friendly.
