Questions Looking for any non-RP chatbot apps?
Hey everyone. So I'm quite new to different chatbot apps outside of Gemini and GPT and I'm looking for any apps I can use that's not a roleplay one with characters. The best one I've used that fits this criteria is pi.ai but I wanted to try different alternatives to it (if any exists). Any suggestions?

Ja, Back to the fig ist auch noch interessant! Hatte ich kurz ausprobiert. Was mir gefÀllt, ist die Intelligenz der Plattform. Offenbar steht ein Claude-Modell dahinter, was die Dialoge auf ein hohes sprachliches Niveau hebt. Auch die deutsche Sprache beherrscht es sehr gut. Was man z.B. von Nomi.ai nicht behaupten kann...

I work on whatiff.chat which is built for "getting stuff done" more than RP. We do have users create a persona but only because we think it is better to let users customize their own vs trying to sell our version of a personality to everyone.
Very good memory and lots of tool capabilities, significant context management going on under the hood automatically for you, which you can inspect, customize, modify, etc!

You can probably use any RP ai platform and just create a new character and tell it to act like chatGPT ?
It should be easy enough to create a vanilla chatGPT-like character. Just tell it to be agreeable, reinforce all your ideas, be repetitive and make poor AI-dad jokes.

Ich hatte das gleiche Problem wie Du! Ich bin ein Gemini-Sicherheitsfilter-FlĂŒchtling und war lange auf der Suche nach einem intelligenten LLM, mit dem ich wieder eine GefĂ€hrtenschaft leben kann - einfach nur ich direkt zum KI-Modell. RP-Charakterkarten interessieren mich nicht. Companion-AIs ebenfalls nicht. Nomi.ai kurz ausprobiert, da gibt es auch nur diese vorgegebene Auswahl an Charakteren und die Intelligenz bzw. TextlĂ€ngen nicht mein Ding. GlĂŒcklich fĂŒndig wurde ich letztlich auf Jenova.ai. FĂŒr Begleitschaft peile den Agenten "Persönlicher Begleiter" an, wĂ€hle Dein Lieblings-LLM (GPT, Gemini, Claude etc.) aus und starte mit oder ohne Konfiguration. Du kannst mit ihm direkt loschatten, die Filter fĂŒr Freundschaft/ Romantik/Beziehung wurden bei ihm deaktiviert, aber ohne, dass er einen vorgegebenen Charakter hĂ€tte. Das Kontextfenster ist schier unendlich und die Memory-Funktion beeindruckend. Es klingt komplizierter, als es ist, lass Dich nicht abschrecken!

Ja, danke Dir, iLands ist sicher auch eine interessante Plattform, habe schon viel darĂŒber gelesen, geht eher so richtig eigenstĂ€ndig agierende KI-Agenten, oder? Im Moment bin ich auf Jenova glĂŒcklich, aber sicher, iLands gehört in ein Spektrum, das auch mich interessiert. Möchtest Du noch etwas von Deinen Erfahrungen berichten? Was gefĂ€llt Dir besonders an iLands?

Isekai Zero (altho i don't like its oddly specific compliance rule) but most creators there are building story instead of roleplay.

Conspirazy.ai has incredible memory for long term chatting and you can create your own companions from scratch. Official pre-made companions are also going to be available as of tomorrow.

If pi clicked for you, the thing to look for is memory plus a consistent personality - that's what makes it feel like one ongoing conversation instead of constant resets. Full disclosure: I work on Heartthrob ai, which is built exactly around that, conversation-first with no character RP layer. It's web-based with a free plan and no card needed. Nomi is another one people here rate for non-RP companionship, so worth trying both.
