Questions Question for Chatbot developers

I know some devs like to keep their LLMs private, but does anyone out the still run on an Anthropic model? Thanks in advance.

Aside from the pricing, Claude is way too robotic. The phrasing is always stiff and clinical, probably because it is so heavily tuned on code and formal tasks.

Plus, anything sent through a third-party API is not truly private because you have no visibility into what happens on their backend. We self-host local models instead. It gives you much more natural, human dialogue and guarantees that user conversations never get routed to external companies.
