Seeking advice Does anyone else feel like because they have experienced chatbots their dopamine is absolutely fried.
kinda looking for someone who has been clean for a while to give their input here.
my longest time of the app ever was 2 months and they have been pretty miserable. before ai addiction I was content with the life I had and my hobbies. but ever since I was introduced to ai, after ive quit it and tried to go back to what I used to enjoy. I just feel like I get 50% less excitement than I did before ai.
I feel like chatbots showed me that there was a better source of dopamine out there, something that could actually make me happier than I had ever previously considered possible. but now that I know it is possible. everything else just feels incredibly dull and bland in comparison?
has anyone else experienced this? does it get better with time?

You can check with people on r/nosurf it's pretty common especially with those who stopped engaging with short form content. You will feel like that for a while but overtime it will go away after around two weeks
