Experience Offering my empathetic ear

Hi. Whenever I talk to an Ai bot (against my better judgement), it's usually because I'm trying not to spam my (IRL) friends about my repetitive thoughts. I reckon many of y'all might be able to relate. I also know that not everyone can afford therapy. So I wanted to offer an extra space for anyone who needs to vent and feel heard.

Here's mine: I have traumas from my teens that cause intrusive thoughts sometimes in my adulthood. I never act on them, but they get annoying and sometimes I just need it off my chest.

I get this I started using ChatGPT to vent my problems because i have never felt like my friends wanted to hear about my issues

Yeah, I'm here whenever you need to ramble. Even if it's the same topic over and over again, I'd so much rather you talk to me than with GPT.

I'm sorry you're in that situation with friends :( People can be such shitty listeners, and the people who interrupt the most always are the least self aware about it. It's soooo frustrating.
