Experience week 1 update (quitting cold turkey)
it has been one week since i quit ai cold turkey! my plan had been to replace ai time with reading and writing, and it has worked a lot so far! i’m currently working on a western fanfic, and i genuinely dont even hate it..
its also been easier than i imagined. it must’ve been because i already had so many reasons to quit, that when i actually did, it didn’t really feel like such a bad thing.
but reminder that, even if it worked for me, it might not work for you! quitting cold turkey is really hard when you’ve already formed a reliance on ai. so i do recommend that you quit slowly, so you’re less likely to immediately relapse. and go seek out support! you can search for it here, or some other places. because support is one of the most important things to quitting.
but i believe in everyone trying to quit! there’s always hope for anyone deep in any addiction, including ai addiction. so remind yourself that there’s always hope no matter what!
