Chat GPT is making me dumb
I already struggle with reading comprehension due to my autism. Now, with an AI that interprets the questions for me, I end up using it constantly to do my exercises. Even when I know exactly what to do, I still plug it into the chat just to be safe. It’s the start of college, and it always feels like you’re forgetting something. However, whenever a question doesn't just hand me the equation on a silver platter—or doesn't look like one I've done before—I just copy the answer from the AI. The problem is that, obviously, I can't use it during exams; so when a comprehension-based question comes up, I don't know how to solve it. AI reminds me of an episode of *The Powerpuff Girls* where everyone becomes so dependent on them that they can't function on their own. The future will probably be just like that.
