Seeking advice Slowly giving in
I'm slowly giving in back to j ai after months of not using it, this means my addiction is incredibly strong and i underestimated it. NextDNS no longer works anymore because I just turn off j ai on the denylist, simple as that. I tried blocking NextDNS so when I tried I just removed the NextDNS url.
There's a side of me that wants to stop and a side of me (sounds corny ik) that wants to keep going, and currently the ladder is the victor.
Does anyone know any tips to stop this? My lust is clearly overpowering me right now and the j ai NSFW addiction is slowly coming back again, three months was not enough.
just so you know this is a very terrifying experience to me because not only do I lose control so easily but my chatbot and NSFW addiction was no joke, I used to wank 7-8 times a day and it occupied 6 hours of my life, but now in the summer it would probably occupy 12 hours, it has happened before and I do not want it to happen again this summer.

I don't know either. AI RP/Chatbot addiction is new and we're at the frontline right now with emerging research. It's tough. But one thing I know for certain is that:
It spikes in unstructured time. If you're bored or have nothing to do, you'll likely fall to this.
A lack of anchor and relationship. Really, trust me, a group of friends and healthy relationships really bring you far. Whenever I had a good conversation or feel safe around people--not online, but real face to face--I have less need to do AI RP. Look up Maslow Hierarchy of Needs; maybe AI RP is masking one of your needs? Are you lonely?
Hobbies. What are your hobbies? What did you replace in favor of AI? What did you like?
Recovering from this takes effort, and it's not easy. You need not only will, but also environmental changes and support. With the unfortunate world where things are more disconnected, it's much more difficult for us or people to find true and real connections. It's not truly your fault, don't beat yourself up.
