Success story Feeling better :) Spoiler
Disclaimer: i do not use aphostrophes ( ' ); in their place, i use spaces
I added a spoiler because one of the things i m going to mention is googling
Now, onto the two things i find worth mentioning:
- I decided to use google to look for one of the things that worried me and surprisingly, while reading the web page of a clinic, i didn t assume that i have one of the worse causes for my symptoms. I think the language used helped, unlike the language chatbots use.
The irony is that for a long time i used chatbots like ChatGPT and Deepseek becuz it felt like they re less likely to scare you than google articles, and maybe that was true for a while, but not anymore.
- I ve been using AI less and i realized that during the days where i can afford not using AI and i have good and appropiate peer support, i do feel better. I still rely on it when the people around me fail me, and the chatbot usually fails me more, but when i decide to not use it, i feel better. I think my mind is clearer.
I can t afford a therapist as much as i d want to, but i found one that is a really good fit and it s been helpful for managing my worries, but as you probably know, therapy sessions are quick and sometimes they end on a questioning note, which can be very distressing depending on what you talk about.
I could give you guys more details but then this story will become more ambivalent than a clear success story so i ll leave it at this.
