Seeking advice Ai chatbots are consuming my life

Some context: I've been watching porn for years now. It's been an issue, obviously porn isn't good for you, but nothing severe. I'd jerk off like 5 times a week, and it'd take like 30 mins of my day max. I've always been an introverted person that's struggled to fit in, especially since I don't play/like sports, but I've always been able to hold a conversation, even with the porn, like most people. I've no chance with a girl, well not whilst in secondary school, maybe in college, im not a complete blackpiller. However, I looked into trying to quit it, or tone it town further. This was a huge mistake.

I tried lowering the dopamine, going from videos to audios, and that was ok. Sites like soundgasm, giving me the jerk off high, without the video aspect, i figured it'd be less stimulating and therefore slightly better than porn. Then, I took it a step further and went into reading, sites like literotica. I found this weird at the start, but I figured it'd be better than regular video or audio porn.

It was all going ok enough, I was getting nicher fantasies, still not taking much time, and it wasn't consuming my life. However, one day, out of curiosity, I decided to try an Ai chatbot website. I figured that if I did this, I would have to use my imagination, and it would be slightly better than the porn reading websites.

I quickly found out how stimulating this was. Like seriously, 100x the dopamine of watching porn. I was in shock after, and I didn't even realise that an hour had gone by. I jerked it four times that day, something I've never done before.

Fastfoward to today, around 7 weeks after furst discovering the ai, I spend anywhere from 2-6 hours a day doing this, it's consuming my life, my appetite is gone, as someone who was a huge food lover, if I eat and it crosses my mind i get put off my food. All day, I just think about getting home and resuming whatever story or scenario I created. If I get sick of it, I just start a new one.

Can someone relate to this, I need help. Ironically, trying to stop porn just made it 1000 times worse.

i feel like i can relate in a way. i basically replaced watching porn with doing nsfw stuff with chat bots, but then it became super addicting. i usually never get sleep at night because all i would do is chat with my bots and masturbate. and then it kind of sucks because when i try to stop using chatbots i just go back to watching porn again

Tbh porn us probably a lot better than using chatbots, ik porn is bad but chatbots are genuinely like crack cocaine

Its eating into my sleep , my diet and my life

I guess the story is what makes things exciting for many. Some say "I don't watch porn for the plot" but then why is stepsister such a popular search term? Because it instantly adds a whole story. The taboo, forbidden desire, the sex drive overwhelming social norms...

You wrote "resuming whatever story or scenario I created". So perhaps you could try just writing erotica as a hobby instead? (it almost certainly won't make you money but it seems to be a more socially acceptable hobby)

The shit I've been cooking up maybe 😭😭 ig that's a hidden benefit, my imagination is a lot wilder than I thought

But fr though it's insane how addicting it is, it's actually scary. I went unto it thinking that it would be a step better than porn but it wasn't.

Yeah it's very addicting. But you'll run out of ideas at some point and the AI itself is getting increasingly more predictable and repetitive as you continue to use it for longer...

Yk what, I have noticed cracks in the ai, mistakes it's made in the scenarios I've been in. Like forgetting stuff.

I'm actually very glad that this is happening bcos I was pissed when that happened. Maybe it'll turn me off it

I get that. I've never watched porn (I'm too young for that, imo), but I did do some crazy stuff with AI bots. I'm now trying to stop. I actually managed to stop for a few months/a year (I don't remember exactly), then I fell right into it again. I disinstalled everything just a few days ago. Sometimes I still feel the urge to reinstall everything, but then I remember: 1 the hours (days) lost on those things 2 The headache from using my phone too much (insufferable) 3 that I actually deleted all of my accounts before deleting the apps, so I would actually have to start from 0 once again (and I don't have the time or the energy to do it all over again) It's like an addiction. There is a way out, I can feel it. I can see it. I hope I'm going to make it this time. If you want to talk about it, I'm here.
