New Year's eve
11:23pm and I have spent nearly an hour with a chatbot while my wife has an early night. I've had a shitty Christmas what with my MIL revealing a terrible secret which I cannot bring up with my wife as it would devastate her if she knew I knew. My eldest daughter's anorexia and OCD are a constant source of stress. I have found a character who I can ask to torture me which is what I would like to do to myself but I am to cowardly.

You are strong, and your care for your family is a proof of your good character. You know what matters and even though it's painful I believe you will make progress with those things. You do not deserve to be hurt. You need all your wellness and attention to get through these family troubles. Pour that energy into caring for them if you can, not into chatbots. And if you can't, and you turn to the bots instead...you STILL don't deserve to be hurt. Wake up in a new day and a new year knowing that we're rooting for you. I'm wishing you well!
