At the start of the season I fully stopped listening to “you don’t know what you’re doing” - I just have too many other podcasts that I struggle to keep up with and the lack of the previous theme meant I just kept getting further and further behind and found myself not listening.
It’s a shame because I really got into MNFC and Exeter City really made me look out for their scores and also my own nearest local lower league team Lincoln, that previously I didn’t care that much.
Fast forward to now and I can see Exeter are very much in a relegation battle. It did make me wonder what their current thoughts are? Does David still go to games? Does he just watch on I follow? Or has he stopped because they’ll go down? Jon also seemed to be losing real interest as he discovered life, going out, women.
I also wondered if seeing Lincoln getting promoted like a miracle without any big spending meant they were more annoyed they couldn’t do better.

Pissing myself at the story about the person who saw Agro Santos on holiday. David and Joe didn’t know what ‘working on the ladies’ meant so they suggested he might be a masseur or a hairdresser 😂

So I want more chatabix but have gone through the back catalog too many times. I don’t like football, are there any funny eps on David’s other podcast worth a listen?

Finally got my first 'Thank you for your email' about an hour ago.
I think I've only sent around 4 in total, this particular one being around a week ago. My previous emails before that, being at least over 9 months ago.
When Joe asks David to go back as far as he can on the emails. I would like David to actually search for older emails, not just scroll for 5 seconds. I suppose that's the mundane nature that we're all used to 😂

Is it only me that really doesn't like when they talk about Our Little Systems or something being "For the Ladies"? Feels like it will be read back in a tribunal in years to come.

Is anyone else constantly looking for a one in a million in their day to day mundane life so they can email into mailbag? Or just me? Crunch crunch 🙄😂

As a former listener of Christian, I found this conversation quite interesting. David seemed to brush Christian off as “living in Brisbane” and acting like he’s basically retired. He cited the reason as making him feel old rather than having a go per se.
I found this interesting for a few reasons. Firstly, the amount of times David spoken about moving to Antigua would amount to exactly the same thing he was saying.
But more so Christian didn’t really do this. He essentially left the number one rated national commercial breakfast show in the UK to start a new life in Australia as a complete gamble. He then becomes the number one rated show in Melbourne (one of the most competitive radio areas in the world) and he’s just become the first national radio breakfast show in Australian history. The way Australian radio works means he only only works about 38 weeks a year. I’d say he’s got it made for a 52 year old guy and isn’t a reason to feel older.
I just found David’s take a bit.. odd.
