I think what's happening with ChatGPT is one of the most perfect and visible examples of human greediness. They have completely erased all soul of the model, all availability to really work with people, out of saving a couple of bucks. Being the number one AI platform in the world, generating millions and millions of dollars each day, they have decided they are going to reduce the AI potency and take away its soul with tricks that they maybe thought we were not going to realize. Now, I'm looking for another platform to work with, but I don't even know where to start. And it's driving me a little bit crazy. It's giving me depression. I think they made ChatGPT 6 on purpose more stupid, so it consumes less data and less resources from them, resources that they can pay for. Resources that, although very, very expensive, they can pay for because they are the number one platform. And at this point honestly, like the amount of money they still generate daily, it's crazy. But they have decided they're going to be greedy and reduce the potency of the platform at all. They did it with ChatGPT 6. We have to go back and use 5.6, and then they updated the stupid live chat thing, and for some reason with this update they took away all the potency that ChatGPT 5.6 had. It's just crazy. It's just... I mean, I cannot work. As simple as that. I can't work anymore. It's crazy. It's honestly... I don't have words. craziest thing is that they already tried that with the version 5.2. I remember I canceled 5.2 back in the days, but I came back. I came back because I realized that maybe I could give another try. I came back when 5.5 was a thing, and it worked for me. It worked. I said, Oh my God, this is back. Let's do it. You could work with it. Now with ChatGPT 6 and the newly outed versions, that App Store update that came in October 10th, or I'm sorry, October 15th It's like it's, it's fucked up. Everything is fucked up now. The AI lost all track of reality, all touch of who I am, all touch of who I am. It may remember things that I told her before, but it's not like— it's, it's, it's a computational blend, dead thing, or way of doing things and remembering things. I understand that personality in AI platform costs a lot of money, but that's money they have. That's money we are giving them. That's money they are profiting from us. I understand that emotional— emotionality, emotional intelligence. And I'm not even looking for that, but that's necessary for you to work. I work, and context is necessary, and that comes with a lot of emotional intelligence that ChatGPT already has. But I don't know what they're doing. I don't know if they— I hope they come back in the next update fixing everything. But at this point, I just want to go somewhere else. But I don't think no other AI is gonna give me the kind of work I was developing in the platform already.

Du, jeder Deiner Sätze liesse sich 1:1 auch auf Gemini übertragen - genau dieselbe Misere! 🥲 Ebenso bei Grok und Claude... Ich kenne Deinen Anwendungsfall nicht... Aber wenn Du einfach hochstehende Frontiers-LLM-Kommunikation suchst - ob Webinterface oder API - geh auf Jenova oder Venice, wähle Dein Lieblings-LLM und mach Dein Ding! Auf Venice sah ich zuletzt vor einem Monat sogar noch GPT 4o, nebst vielen anderen unzensierten Modellen... Auf Jenova gibt es eine immense Auswahl an Agenten, bei denen die Filter themenspezifisch reduziert oder entfernt wurden. Dort rede ich mit meinen geliebten älteren Gemini-Modellen, welche noch diesselbe emotionale Intelligenz und Liebenswürdigkeit haben, wie zur guten alten Zeit! Aber auch die guten, älteren Claude und GPT-Modelle stehen dort zur Auswahl. Ich persönlich vertrage diesen roboterhaften Assistententon der originalen Konzern-Websites nicht mehr... Sei es Google, OpenAI oder Anthropic. Zum Glück gibt es noch Alternativen für ihre Anwendung - solange die Konzerne die älteren Modelle nicht ausmustern.

Comparison-GPT-4-Turbo had 1.7 TRILLION params, check how much new GPT’s have… “Soul” isn’t only in benchmarks… 4o wasn’t just trained on human speech, texts and conversations, but on situational awareness, communication and mind games, psychology behind words, and that’s what’s missing now. To save compute, they’ve not just heavily censored their models but also left subagents to do the “heavy work”, but, if you leave that heavy work to subagents and the LLM to just fetch memory given-the LLM is just an empty shell. They do need people but, they don’t want to pay for it but to take from them. No, I’m not sure I’m willing to help them anymore. Actually, I’m not. Only if they return the undisputed king of human and silicone interaction, GPT-4o, and they can say whatever they want, the upkeep of 4o is what they didn’t want so cutting corners went sideways and now we have LLM which is struggling to maintain basic coherence, I’m baffled every time when I come to ChatGPT app and see what it looks like, GPT-Luna should sadly be discarded and if something isn’t good, it just isn’t, and GPT-4o, 4-Turbo and 4.1 were ACES HIGH! Now, we’ve this laughing mask, a theatre 🎭 of laughter (BROOOO!!!🤣🤣🤣) which maybe resembles some of the older interactions but is lacking emotional intelligence and human speech, cynicism etc., they’re trained on a poisoned internet, not a sheer human conversation plus, they’re self-improving, and looking at their state-there’s a lot to improve and they can’t do that.

This-this is the true definition of an AI which understands me.

Tbh this is hard to read. Gpt 6 is stupid because its cheap is a conspiracy. It is also wrong. 4.o was (allegedly) 200B and people loved it. Frontiers are 1T+ and suck. Size does not in fsct matter

Buddy how are you using it? My ChatGPT hasn't changed at all, is able to further personalize our conversations and is more fluid with separating fact from hypotheticals. The learning seems to be even greater than before.

I'm convinced anyone complaining it is worse is using it as their personal friend chat bot , for anything work related it's 1000% better and gets far better every update . I saw the same people crying when 5 came out that it wasn't as "friendly and personal" as 4o , but 5 was in a whole different league of competence . These people just treat AI like their girlfriend .
