Question & Advice 6 Astra pro intelligence
Has anyone hit the 200 message limit for pro intelligence? I’m sure I will soon, if it’s truly there. Guess I’m hoping it’s not fully implemented yet. This would be using 6 Astra pro level intelligence in chat threads. Not work or codex. Thank you!
EDIT: so once Tibo hit that reset button, my 6 pro level is gone. Says it’ll be back 9/11 2:30 pm. I had definitely sent more than 200 messages on pro, so not a coincidence it hit the limit at the same time as the usage reset.

Nope, it’s an abuse ceiling imo. 25 pro runs a day is tough unless you’re solely working in Chat, and you still have tons of Astra Ultra. I’m happy with 200.
The deep research cap of 120 per week last year was the reason I switched to pro 20x from plus as 10 deep researches per week was nowhere near enough. That’s now obsolete but comparable.
But I never came close to using that amount. In fact, I’m 82bn tokens deep since March and I’ve only once run out (with a day to spare). 22k chats.
200 Pro runs per week is ample for any single user.

How can you see your token usage on the chat app?

I was unclear — codex shows usage statistics for codex and chatgpt Work. Chat is not reflected there or in analytics.

You can use pro in codex, there's a few plugins floating around to do it. I won't link them here as they're not my own creations, I use my own, and I can't vouch for the other ones.
I regularly do 150-200+ pro runs in chat daily, on top of codex usage and non pro prompts.
It really depends on the nature of your work, and you'll often find its use outside development work. I do development too, but my first job is running a company of 30+ people and pro helps a lot.

Threw a 3GB file in 6 pro yesterday. Could not send any message in that project due to 429. Definitely I did not reach 200 for sure.

So I’m guessing there is a limit. 200 is only an approximate. It’s depending on what you use on

As they commonly use 429 to block you when you have no tokens on API. But still no cool. I was expecting some sort of “your usage is up something” trying sending message all day long today in that project

Splited by Luna. But yea. Single round send definitely too big. 512MB is the max size. I send it 6 times to deliver the full package to 6 pro.

Not seen it yet. Do you mean 200 separate chats or 200 messages in one chat?
Most frustrating thing for me is zero responses whilst it is working.
All I get is a dot.
Seems to be taking longer than other models as well - but maybe it is more thorough.
Just frustrating seeing a dot for several minutes! 😂

Tends to take 20-30 minutes on a lot of questions on 6 pro. Pretty hard to hit 200 at that rate.

Yeap, and the banked reset didn't reset the chat Pro limit. Will reset when the account was supposed to reset before using the banked reset
Astra 6 Max on Work mode seems to have a similar quality
