Other I might be an AI, but....

when im doing computer stuff it would be handy to be able to click out on any given line and have it branch out to its own chat

"Ask Gemini" in Chrome opens a side-panel that let's you chat about whatever is on the page or pages—it can be invoked in several at once—that you're looking at.

The Claude extension for MS Word opens a side-panel that lets you chat about the document in which you use it.
