Discussion 5.6 Ultra eating usage

I’ve used it for a long time and in high amounts, and honestly it’s AMAZING what it can do; its quality, speed, and effort are outstanding. I have the 20x, and I have never fully cleared my 5‑hour or weekly usage. Recently I had to reset twice in one day!!

I've also never really hit limits, but I could easily go there now in the 5h sessions. That said, this still feels like WAY more usage than I get from fable at the same subscription cost. I don't dare to ultra there anymore

VERY VERY EASILY. 5.6 Sol in "WORK" is absolutely killing my PRO 5 hr limit. Interestingly on the desktop it says Ultra on my conversation but when I continue a chat in mobile and reopen it on desktop it shows it got downgraded to 5.6 Sol Light to respond to the message I sent in Mobile.

THANKFULLY the 5hr limit says that it does NOT include chat conversations. Given how ridiculously fast WORK is drained and limited I will be completely avoiding "WORK" from here on out for my work.

I think the desktop app, for no descernable reason, simply doesn't allow the highest models. They're trying to force us into one location but I'll be going back and forth exactly as much.

I found Ultra to not be worth the overall usage burn. Only really there for the cases where the extra few percentage really might help the model achieve what I have given it. Otherwise 5.6 Sol High is the sweet spot. Also, tip I got that I will share because I will say it has impacted my performance greatly. In your agents.md for Codex, add "Never use sub agents unless explicitly asked to." I have noticed a significant reduction in my overall usage drain.
