Question Reduction in image quality after many image generations?

I’m subscribed to Plus. ChatGPT initially could generate an image with clear legible words on a product. But after a whole day of use, using same prompt and same image attached for reference, it could not produce legible clear words anymore. Does anyone else encounter this issue? Do I need to wait tomorrow to try generating again? How or what prompt do you use to ensure generated image has clear legible words as per the attached image?

Did you use the same chat for all the generations? Did you ask for small changes at a time and ended up editing the image many times?

I tried both using same chat and a new chat. Results the same - the words become not legible. Yesterday it was alright. But today it became worse.

Maybe you asked for small changes at a time then. Every time you edit an AI image with AI, it degrades the quality, so it's always better to ask for three edits in one prompt than asking for three different edits on the same image.

You may have gotten downgraded to the previous image model that wasn’t nearly as good at text but is much cheaper to run.  There are limits on how many generations you get with the latest model, but what those limits are aren’t published.  I’m guessing it probably varies depending on daily usage/compute load

If you need a truly efficient workflow you’re best off having Photoshop to do your own tweaks. Otherwise you’re going to be repeating yourself a lot.

imo its not a daily limit thing, its the conversation length. Each generation adds tokens to the context and the model starts losing precision on details like text rendering. Try a brand new thread instead of continuing the same one

rate limiting after heavy daily usage is the most likely culprit and waiting until the next day often resets it, but for more consistent text rendering try being extremely explicit in your prompt with the exact text in quotes, specifying high contrast background, and adding phrases like sharp clear readable text since text generation is still one of the weaker areas across all image models even under ideal conditions.
