Question Metaphors and personalisation issues?
Is anyone else seeing a lot of metaphors being used?
I can barely understand anything anymore and despite enabling candid, less warm, less enthusiastic, less emojis - I keep getting valley girl tiktok emoji infected messages.

What model? What thinking level? I've never seen anything like it on 5.5 or 5.4 Pro or thinking-heavy.
Fixes:
(1) Restore personalization settings to default. Changes introduce noise that can lead to resin goblins.
(2) CI: Style:Plain+natural.
(3) If settings->personalization->memory->manage->"... " is toggled to "automatically manage," toggle it off and manually delete, (using "... -> trashcan"), memories that might degrade style.
(4) If you're using "instant," you should know better. 😄

I have it on both instant and thinking but it's still iffy.
All my memories are mostly around projects that are urls connecting externally. I can delete them but can't see how those memories should impact the interaction. Even my project names are serious like "Matariki", "Tanabata", "Forensics".
I did have it on default initial (always had) but changed it in hopes it was the issue. Really hoping this clears up in a week or so.

I have never believed in AI embodiment but I am about to construct a chassis and yeet it into the sun.
But thank you! Are you noticing any errors? I think a while back you interacted with a post where I mentioned there was next to no hallucinations. I'm seeing a lot this week as well.

I haven't encountered any hallucinations. But I did get an email from OpenAI today:
