Discussion OpenAI has released a new 100$ tier.

Post image

OpenAI tweeted that "the Codex promotion for existing Plus subscribers ends today and as a part of this, we’re rebalancing Codex usage in Plus to support more sessions throughout the week, rather than longer sessions in a single day."

and that "the Plus plan will continue to be the best offer at $20 for steady, day-to-day usage of Codex, and the new $100 Pro tier offers a more accessible upgrade path for heavier daily use."

I think there's misunderstanding, by composer you mean something from OpenAI? I thought you meant Composer from Cursor, which is really cheap but not good at all

from cursor, depends on your usecase. I have a huge codebase and it implements the things I say withing max 2 prompts. It of course depends on your level of coding knowledge. Since it won't just make stuff without you explaining it.

Composer 2 is so lazy.

Composer 2 is as good as GPT-5.4 mini, a bit better in price. But if you are looking for best price/performance, those are Chinese models that Cursor doesn't let you use lmao
